Jul 5, 2017. hi, i just finished the nclex- rn today, and after about 10 minutes after i finished the test, i tried the Pearson Vue trick. i got the good pop up, thankfully. however 15 minutes later, I got an email that told me that i had completed the NCLEX, blah blah blah. so, i checked the PVT again, and I still got the good pop up ... If the computer determines that you failed, it will allow you to re-register (bad pop up), but once it is regraded by a real person they can either agree with the computer that you indeed did fail , or they can disagree and give you a pass. So if you get the good pop up, go head and celebrate, it’s accurate. 27 Posts. The issue is if the payment system accepts your payment and you passed you initial test, you have to get Pearson Vue to refund your payment (if they will). PVT is accurate as flipping a coin, heads you passed/ tails you failed.If you get a message saying that your payment was declined, it is the "bad" pop-up and indicates that you did not pass. Rarely, people get the bad pop-up and actually have passed, but you will never get the good pop-up if you failed. The trick only works if you do it after getting the Pearsonvue email after your NCLEX. 1.
