Fidium is Consolidated's name for home fiber. The Fidium supplied routers seem to only be able to be accessed thru the app, which isn't great either. Also the Fidium supplied routers are pretty locked down as what the end user can alter. Don't think you can separate the bands from what I've read.

I used my own router with fidium. When the tech came to install, I asked if I could write down the username and password for the Adtran. As soon as they left, I removed the Adtran and plugged my Linksys router into the ONT, then logged in PPPOE with [email protected] and the password the tech gave me.
